Indonesia hoping for doubles glory to end three-year drought

Indonesian shuttlers have a chance to end a three-year drought at the Djarum Indonesia Open Superseries Premier when they contest the women’s and mixed-doubles finals on Sunday.

Vita Marissa-Nadya Melati and the hottest players on the OSIM BWF World Superseries circuit this year, Tantowi Ahmad-Liliyana Natsir, reached the women’s and mixed doubles finals without dropping a game in Saturday’s semi-finals, but there was double heartache for Denmark’s Kamilla Rytter Juhl.
