Five European countries are still fighting for glory at the BWF Yonex World Championships in London. As expected have Peter Gade and Tine Baun from Europe's powerhouse Denmark reached the quarter-finals in the singles categories. And Hans-Kristian Vittinghus created a big surprise by reaching the quarter-finals as well. While his compatriot Gade has dropped a set againt Simon Santoso, the 23 year-old Vittinghus has won all his matches in straight games. 

But with Pi Hongyan of France, who is back on track after her injury, and Germany's Juliane Schenk there two more Europeans who have chances to reach the Medal stage in the singles events. ...
